Stratcom Gate

K2 Construction was selected by JE Dunn to install the new storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water mains associated with the new gate being built at Offutt AFB, NE.  This design-build project is being built  in anticipation of the future construction of a new Strategic Air Command Center that will replace the existing building.  The duration of this project is expected to be approximately 3 months.

Cargill

K2 Construction was selected by Cargill Corporation to install approximately 10,000 linear feet of HDPE to supply the new Novozymes facility with sewer lines, fire water lines, potable water lines and cooling tower lines.  K2 has worked at Cargill in the past and is one of a few underground contractors in this area that can consistently meet the exceptionally high safety standards that Cargill has set for its contractors.  This project is expected to take about 4 months.

City of Blair Watermain

The City of Blair, Nebraska has chosen K2 Construction to complete the task of replacing over 6,000 LF of watermain, remove and replace fire hydrants, and install new services. K2 will also remove and replace some Sanitary Sewer. There will be removal and replcamenet of over 8,000 SF of sidewalk and driveway as well. The project is spread over various parts of Blair and will impact approximately 75 households directly.

Metropolitan Utilities District Watermain

Metropolitan Utilities District’s Installation of Watermain for Infrasturcture Replacements in the 114th Street and West Dodge area in the City of Omaha, Nebraska will be completed by K2 Construction this summer. This work will involve the replacement of nearly 2,000 LF of watermain. K2 will also be reconnecting the water services for the commercial users along the route. The project requires the coordination of work with property owners and the traveling public. K2 will utilitze the technology of horizontal directional drilling to minimize disruption in one of the businest areas of Omaha.
